Our featured specialist is Massage Therapist, Gladys Fleming
Gladys began working for City Magnolia in the spring and quickly established herself as a valuable asset to City Magnolia. Her quiet demeanor and strong deep tissue have made her popular with many of our guests, however, Gladys also does a wonderful relaxing massage if you do not enjoy deep tissue.
A. Any of the 80 minute massages. It is especially great because it allows the client to have plenty of time to relax while the muscles are being worked on. It also gives the therapist enough time to address any issues that may need special attention. The Seaweed Infusion Wrap and Meditteranean Salt Glow are also great treatments to firm, hydrate and/or exfoliate rough, dry skin.
A: One area that is sometimes neglected in a massage routine is the face. A facial massage can soothe away headaches, anxiety and exhaustion and give a sense of well-being. A facial massage gives a healthy glow to the complexion and relaxes taught muscles. In addition, a head massage relaxes every part of the body easing tension and anxiety.
A: Of course, meeting new people is a plus to working as a massage therapist. Different people have different needs and I feel blessed to be able to offer physical, emotional and spiritual well-being through massage therapy.
A: There are simple things that people have in their own homes that may be helpful, like leaning against a door frame and applying pressure to the mid back and scapula area. Warm baths and stretching exercises are also helpful.
A: Tension Relief Balm, a nice peppermint lotion that provides relief from migraines and loosens those "knots" that we carry in our shoulders and upper back. |
